Members of the advocacy group ACORN will be protesting outside Ottawa South MPP John Fraser's office Thursday.
They're calling on the provincial government to raise the minimum wage from $10.25 an hour to $14 an hour and index it to inflation.
ACORN says this will put the minimum wage 10 per cent above the poverty line for someone working 35 hours a week.
ACORN members will be serving boxed macaroni and cheese at the rally, to highlight "what minimum wage workers will be eating this Thanksgiving."
